Fatboy Run! was formed in 2011 with a focus on playing more of today’s good music for crowds that have tired of hearing the same old cover band standards (sorry, but they will not be playing Brown Eyed Girl, Mustang Sally, or Born to be Wild unless you’ve got a $100 bill burning a hole in your pocket – in which case they might be convinced to get their motors running).
The reactions to early Fatboy Run! recordings, media and performances were overwhelming. Fatboy Run! immediately attracted the interest of agents and venues looking to book the band. Various performance highlights include playing at the Miller Oasis stage at Summerfest, the Milwaukee Zoo’s a’la Carte, Lake Mills Town and Country Days and various well known bar and restaurant venues in southeastern Wisconsin.
With a lineup like this, it’s easy to understand why this band consistently delivers such fun shows.
Fotis recently relocated to Milwaukee from Greece, where his band FOAM had made people move and groove to exceptionally well played rock'n'roll from the likes of Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck and Albert King. His top end range is outstanding - just wait until you hear him doing some Freddie Mercury!
Luke plays with a laid back style that was cultivated growing up in a home filled with classic rock and
blues music. He has been the backbone of several bands, including
Dragonfly, Mudfoot, Sidepocket and BROKEN. Luke is a multi-time WAMI
un-nominated drummer. Luke has been studying several foreign languages
recently in an effort to incorporate more accents into his drum parts.
Music and playing out are Jim’s
passions. Jim has studied music theory, composition and Jazz at MATC
under musical director Jack Grassel. He has also spent time working with
the bands, Symphony X, Max Cooper, Freak and BROKEN. Jim is best known
for being a musical innovator. He holds US patents for the “D” chord and
the triplet bass fill.
Andy has spent the past 15 years
developing his tone and style of guitar playing working with former
bands, BROKEN and The Robinson Brown Radio Show. Andy recently made
waves in the music community when he put his recording and producing
skills to use in his studio, Nomad Production of Wisconsin LLC, where he helped Sammy Hagar, a long time friend of the band, discover a 2nd way to rock
